      Slice of Life       One of my favorite slices in life is when I drove to North Carolina on June 14th 2017! It was 13 hour drive + stops for food and to use the bathroom. It was me, my mom, my aunt, my cousin Mya, and my cousin Iyana. My brother didn't wanna go because he is just lame. We got up at 3:00 AM. The whole car ride i slept and was on my phone. It was pretty boring but extremely exciting at the same time. When we finally got to North Carolina it was raining AND we had another hour in the car to get to my grandmas. We hadn't seen her in forever and throughout the years she started to get sick with a disease called Alzheimer's. It was a big surprise when we came. Everyone knew except our grandma. She was so excited to see us! I had an amazing 2 weeks at North Carolina

       Digital Citizenship             What Digital Citizenship is how to be responsible and safe with our iPads. You obviously can't have water or food near your iPad or charger or else you're gonna mess it up. It is for school use only so no inappropriate stuff or search ups on safari. You can ONLY listen to clean appropriate music when your allowed to. Where ever you go you have to keep your iPad in the messenger bag at all times so that if you drop it you don't crack or dent anything.

       All about mua      My name is Micelys. I'm in Ms.Haurys 6th grade class. I have an annoying 18 year old brother and 2 dogs. I live with my madre. I'm 5"4  (I'm almost my moms height, she is 5”12 or 11). I love playing Basketball and running track. Fun Fact: I beat my own 5th grade teacher in Tip Off for Students vs Staff basketball game:  I love all subjects in school besides Health because health is gross.

        NEWS DIS WEEK:                   Another Hurricane ( category 4 ) hits Puerto Rico and other countries in the Atlantic Oceans. In Mexico a 7.1 earthquake hit many parts of Mexico.  200 people died in the earthquake and over 200 people died in the Hurricane.

        Today Ms. Haury's LIT class we joined the "WE" movement. We all felt good about it because we were being part of an important ,inspiring movement. We all also took the pledge for the "WE" movement. https://www.we.org/
