Incentive Day

Since I went up on all three of my MAP Test’s, I get to go to an Incentive Room. I chose open gym because I love playing basketball I play it everyday at recess. I wanna have sloth of people play since we have almost a whole class period for it. If we have a lot of people play it’s gomma be way more fun that having just three people on each team. Last year I beat my own teach in tip off and she thought she was gonna win. Other incentive rooms were a movie and an electronic room. The other one was for kids who went down. They have to summarize what they will do to improve for a whole class period.

Christmas Break

Over our Christmas break I am gonna do absolutely nothing besides, eat, sleep, binge watch shows, and hang out with my cousin and go to my grandmas. I wanna see the new movie “Pitch Perfect 3”.  I might consider going with my cousin and my mom. I also might think consider going to my friends house and FaceTime on of my friends too. But besides all of that, my Christmas break is gonna be pretty boring. I do the same things ever year because I have nothing else to do besides all of that.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness means to forgive people for something they did wrong. I always forgive people unless you did something terrible. When I got a ton of ones in ELA, (thanks to Ms.Haury) my mom was really mad even though I told her that she gave everyone a grade like that but she didn’t even care. But she obviously has to forgive me because I’m her kid. I think everyone should give everyone another chance everytime they mess up or screw up. My brother can never forgive me when I tattle on him but he has to because he has no choice. I’m his step sister. We never get along but that’s a good thing I guess.

Honesty

Honesty means to be honest to someone, or everyone. I am not always honest because I don’t like being honest sometimes. I’m mostly not honest to my brother because he lies to me all the time and he annoys me. I think it’s good to be honest because if you lie to someone you can get in really big trouble. It’s like lying to the police. If you lie to them you automatically get arrested. I am honest to everyone except my brother. But I don’t get in trouble for lying to him. But my mom knows we lie to each other and we end up getting in big trouble for that because she doesn’t like when people lie in “her house”. When really it’s our casa.

MAP Testing

This week we had three tests. We took a Math Test, a Reading Test, and a Language Test. I went up on all three of them. I am also right where I need to be. The rule of the tests was that if you went up on two of them, you get fun room. Basically free time. But if you went down on two you have work room. You basically have to reflect on what you did and what you will do to do better. It’s kinda like detention but detention is way more fun in my opinion. I think I will do better in the spring. My goal for the spring is to go up 4 points on each test.

Slice of Life

My Slice of Life would have to be the last day of 5th Grade. On that day our whole class did some fun stuff. We went outside and did a team building activity, and then each of us got awarded for something. I got awarded for being best dancer because I used to always do these tricks in the morning for my teacher when no students were in class yet. Then at recess, the kickball team got more minutes of recess! I ended up catching 5 balls and kicking the ball all the way to the other side of the playground. Then after that, when we got inside, we had music. We played music basketball which was really fun. And theeeeeen we were celebrating one of our students because, when we had 24 days left of school, we raffled our 24 students to celebrate. I got celebrated before we went to Navy Pier. We made a poster for Sandra, the student we were celebrating, and we wrote things down that we liked about her. I ended up writing a whole entire paragraph. 10 minuets before all of 5th Grade had a cl
