My Slice of Life would have to be the last day of 5th Grade. On that day our whole class did some fun stuff. We went outside and did a team building activity, and then each of us got awarded for something. I got awarded for being best dancer because I used to always do these tricks in the morning for my teacher when no students were in class yet. Then at recess, the kickball team got more minutes of recess! I ended up catching 5 balls and kicking the ball all the way to the other side of the playground. Then after that, when we got inside, we had music. We played music basketball which was really fun. And theeeeeen we were celebrating one of our students because, when we had 24 days left of school, we raffled our 24 students to celebrate. I got celebrated before we went to Navy Pier. We made a poster for Sandra, the student we were celebrating, and we wrote things down that we liked about her. I ended up writing a whole entire paragraph. 10 minuets before all of 5th Grade had a clap out we had a little class talk, and that’s when all the crying came. My teacher put her shades on because she didn’t want anyone to see her cry. I was really sad because one of my close friends were moving. I was crying so hard I could barely breathe. After we got outside we hung out and took one thousand pictures with students and teachers.
