Gratitude

What I Think “Gratitude” Means: I think gratitude means to have a positive attitude about something or to show someone you are thankful for them.

What It Actually Means: the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
"she expressed her gratitude to the committee for their support"

One Person I am Thankful for is my mom because she takes amazing care of me and she makes amazing food too. Her birthday is tomorrow on the 14th and I’m gonna give her one thing. My presence. I’m way easier to take care of than my annoying 18 year old brother. He always complains and is lazy too. He is also very, very mean to me. My mommy has gone through so much and still takes amazing care of me and my brother. She makes us food, gets us whatever we need, and she is also the reason why me and my brother have what we have. I wub me madre very much.

If I Was President

If I was President I wouldn't be like Trump. I would let Mexicans come in and out of the country and I wouldn't let Trump have access to anything. I would try my best to stop war and other issues that people deal with every day. I would make America a safe place and have strict rules on gun violence. I would also have the most amazing laws ever. I would also consider making Puerto Rico an actual state instead of a U.S territory because I have some family members in Puerto Rico.

Book Review

The last book I read was called “The Hate U Give”. It’s a really interesting book. Its about this girl named Starr. She is at a party when all of a sudden they all hear gunshots. Then she went home with her really good friend Khalil. Then a cop pulls them over. Then Khalil starts questioning after they were asked to get out the car. And when Khalil kept moving, the cop shot fire at him. Then it turned into a whole situation. I didn’t read the rest because it was too long of a book and it got boring .

Field Trip or Greek Day.

I didn’t do all the days for slice of Life. I only did like 15 days so I didn’t go to the field trip. I had Greek day in social studies instead. The only fun part was going outside. The food was nasty. I ended up spitting most of it out. It was really nasty. And then after that the rest of the day went how any other school day would go.
